• The organization of Advanced Factories, together with business associationsand the main leading firms in the sector, agree to delay the event for six weeks.
  • The main reason forthe new dates is to facilitate the attendance to more professional visitors, away from the wave of winter infections and the anticipation of substantial progress in the vaccination campaign

Barcelona, February 10, 2021 - Advanced Factories moves from June 8th to June 10th the celebration of its fifth edition. After holding meetings with the main firms that participate year after year in the event, as well as with the main business associations of the sector (such as AER -Spanish Association of Robotics and Automation), the organization has decided to delay its celebration for six weeks.

Once the phase of linking partner firms and exhibitors to Advanced Factories has finished, the organization has focused its efforts on the call for professionals from the industrial sector who attend this event every year looking for a technological partner in robotics and industrial automation. However, the success that this event has reaped each year has also come from the wide call of professionals from the Spanish industrial manufacturing sector. "Even with the hopeful news of the advance of vaccination and knowing that the wave of winter infections is already beginning to break down, the organization, leading firms and business associations have unanimously agreed to move Advanced Factories to June to guarantee the attendance of more professionals from all over the country", says Albert Planas, CEO of the event.
