The Digital Transformation Commission of the Catalan Association of Facility Management (ACFM), organizes and invites you to participate in the next event “Digital Transformation Solutions applied to Facility Management”.
The event will take place at the World Trade Center in Barcelona, on the 8th of May, coinciding with the World Facility Management Day '24.
This year the ACFM has chosen an iconic place in the city to organize this event. This is the World Trade Center of Barcelona, a site that, as a project, began in 1995 with the desire to create an iconic business park in the city.
Under the leadership of the renowned American architect Henry N. Cobb and with the participation of Ieoh Ming Pei, the architecture of the World Trade Center of Barcelona was designed to create a circular infrastructure integrated into the Mediterranean landscape. Thus, all the buildings form the figure of a large ship, inaugurated on July 22nd, 1999.
Over time, World Trade Center of Barcelona has established itself as an iconic, flexible complex open to the sea. A complex made up of four towers arranged in a circular shape that welcome thousands of professionals year after year.
In relation to its commitment to sustainability, World Trade Center of Barcelona obtained the LEED Gold certificate that accredits it as a Leading Building in Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Design by the US Green Building.
