Dear friends,
I welcome you to the CATALAN ASSOCIATION OF FACILITY MANAGEMENT (ACFM) on behalf of the Board of Directors, of which I have the honor of being its current President.
We are very happy to begin a new journey that begins this year 2023 and ends in 2026 with a new Board whose objective is to grow the ACFM and bring it to the objectives that we are setting in our 2023-2026 Strategic Plan. I have to thank all the members of the Board for their commitment to the Association and to Facility Management.
Our objective continues to be that the ACFM, as an entity, brings together those professionals, companies or other entities that within their actions offer, promote or develop any of the activities related to Facility Management strong> in Catalonia, with the aim of becoming a reference center with national and international recognition.
We have already achieved that our Association is the reference Association in Facility Management in Catalonia recognized internationally. We want to continue taking steps so that companies, institutions and professionals in Catalonia are recognized not only in our society, but also in reference for the quality of their work.
Our will is to serve society and we want to give value so that all those professionals, companies and institutions that work in the world of Facility Management are part of our Association. Together we can develop the profession and obtain its due recognition.
We have come a long way since our founding in 2015 and I want to thank our Sponsors and associates because, with their efforts, they are making this dream possible. I also want to thank everyone who has been a member of the ACFM Board and all of our friends and collaborators for their support all these years.
We are heading towards a few years in which the profession of Facility Management has already been identified and known by our society,... but more must be done and for this we need your help and membership in the Association.
In these next few years we want to work with the following objectives:
- Consolidation of the recognition of the Facility Management profession both nationally and internationally.
- Dissemination of Knowledge and training of Facility Management and Facility Services professionals
- Achievement of a deeper application of Facility Management in institutions and companies, which truly allows value in the Life Cycle of Assets. We want it to be clear that the Facility Manager must be in the strategy of companies and institutions
- Internationalization to be able to share best practices and develop business and be a reference.
- Collaboration with institutions and public administrations for the development of the Facility Management application.
- Help in the Digital Transformation of Facility Management in companies and institutions.
As you can see, there is still a lot of work to do and these three years are going to be key for our Association and for Facility Management in particular. We insist that for this reason we need you actively participating with us.
