Last Thursday, November 25, the Catalan Association of Facility Management celebrated the Third Night of the FM of Catalonia . The event (face-to-face) was a success for the audience with partners and friends of the ACFM sharing this space and consolidating it as the annual FM event in Catalonia.
It all started with a visit to the "Eat, Act, Impact" exhibition located in the FundEsplai. This exhibition is the DEMÀ's first project, an organization promoted by FundEsplai and other entities, which wants to be a space for personal and collective activation and transformation. The two main axes of DEMÀ are sustainability and coexistence. DEMÀ is a space that invites us to rethink how we want to live and how we want to live with others. A space that calls for action in the face of the climatic and social emergency, which mobilizes us to imagine and build a more just and sustainable future. The initiative is promoted by FundEsplai , a non-profit entity with the mission of educating children and young people, strengthening leisure entities and the Third Sector, improving the environment and promoting citizenship and social inclusion, with a transforming will.
After this interesting visit, the attendees were given accreditations for dinner and a glass of cava. This was followed by the different speeches of the personalities present:
- Mr. Josep Solà Font, General Manager of Heritage of the Generalitat de Catalunya,
- Mr. Manuel Valdés, Mobility and Infrastructure Management, Barcelona City Council,
- Mr. Ignasi Roger, Manager of Equipment and Energy Services, Infrastructures of the Generalitat de Catalunya
The messages received from various Facility Management organizations, belonging to Global FM, were screened for the occasion as well as a summary of activities carried out by the ACFM this year.
The dinner ended with an entertaining magic show and raffle of gifts among the attendees ... Congratulations to the lucky ones!
