The BIM Commission was created by virtue of the collaboration agreement signed between CAATEEB (Col·legi d'Aparelladors i Arquitectes Tècnics of BCN) and the ACFM.
Recently CAATEEB invited the ACFM to be part of the STRATEGIC COMMITTEE of the BIM event of reference, the EBS (EUROPEAN BIM SUMMIT) and, with this background, it was decided to start a bilateral Commission between both entities in the environment of the BIM and the FM.
There is no doubt that, for the FMs, the BIM methodology will impact us on a day-to-day basis, if it has not already done so. According to the GENCAT, it is already mandatory for all new public construction, that the project be carried out and delivered using the BIM methodology ...
