Dear Members of ACFM,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome members of ACFM into the Global FM family!
With renewed importance being placed on human health, back to work safety protocol measures, coupled with building sustainability and environmental resilience, the facility manager needs to prepare themselves and evaluate FM trends and key learnings as we move forward in a post pandemic built and office space hybrid world.
It is important that facility practitioners continue to accelerate smart building automation solutions, increase the life cycle of building and company assets and continue to reduce operational cost.
Global FM is a federation of facility management associations around the world operating as a single, united entity to promote FM and provide a common platform:
- To utilize the diverse cultures and strengths of each member organization
- To share best practices, knowledge and pertinent FM trends articles and publications
- To conduct research to identifying future FM leadership skillset needed to improve productivity at the workplace
- And to encourage greater collaboration between FM communities
So, in this accelerated social/technical work environment, there will be many opportunities to learn, grow and better yourself as a facility manager professional. Be open-minded, collaborate and share with your teams and take advantage of the vast experience that exist within Global FM.
