Metal returns to Barcelona thanks to a new technological event dedicated to machine tools: Advanced Machine Tools, which will take place simultaneously with Advanced Factories. From April 18th to 20th, more than 180 exhibiting firms will present their latest innovations in cutting, starting, deformation, welding, laser, drilling, milling, stamping, pressing or polishing machinery, among many other functions, and will present the instruments The latest tools, accessories and components that are transforming the value chain of the manufacturing industry.
Thus, Advanced Machine Tools was born with the aim of promoting the renewal of equipment throughout the machine tool sector to adapt Spanish manufacturing to the current economic and technological situation, in addition to supporting it in its process of improving productivity . Likewise, with this technological event, Barcelona recovers a national benchmark hall dedicated to metallurgy, an industry deeply rooted in the entire eastern area and which is one of the most competitive engines in our country.
In recent years, the Spanish industrial complex has suffered the impact of the pandemic and, more recently, the global supply crisis, to which has been added the conflict in Ukraine, facts that have caused the sector to have had to adapt to a more uncertain reality with tighter margins. In this sense, Advanced Machine Tools also wants to be the optimal scenario where all manufacturers can find new technologies that allow them to bet on relocation and gain efficiency in production processes.
